After School Program

The Y after school program serves children ages 5-12. Children have the opportunity to engage in physical, learning, and creative activities that encourage them to explore who they are and what they can achieve. At the After School program children will participate in a wide range of activities including: a daily snack, homework time, arts and crafts, daily devotions/character development, fitness activities, indoor and outdoor activities.

Summer Day Camp Program

Summer day camp is a full day program serving children ages 5-12 throughout the summer. We feature different weekly themes filled with activities, new experiences, and new memories. Whether it’s playing a new sport or exploring their creativity, your child can enjoy a summer full of friendships, achievement, and belonging.

Frequently Asked Questions

Our After School program begins when children are dismissed from school and are transported by the YMCA bus to the center. The After School Program ends at 6:00 PM. During Full-day out of school care time and Summer Day Camp, the program hours are 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM.
No. The After School Program and the Summer Day Camp Program are 2 separate programs requiring you to register your child for each program separately. However, if your child is currently enrolled in the program it will secure your Child’s spot in the next program through the designated registration period.
No. We do not offer drop-in childcare services. When you register for either the After School or Summer Day Camp program you are registering for all sessions during that programs operation time (We do offer 1 week vacation during the Summer Day Camp Program. However, it must be 5 consecutive days and marked on payment contract at the time of registration to not be required to pay).
Yes. you are responsible for payment during the entire contract period even if your child is absent.
Yes. There is a registration fee of $25 per child, $40 for two siblings, and $60 for three siblings.

We do not offer financial assistance or scholarships through the Clinton Family YMCA. However, we do accept SC Childcare Scholarships through DSS.
